چکیده
CO2 accumulation is inducing an effect of global warming. Adsorption using solid sorbents proving as effective strategy for capture and reuse. The aim this study was to develop amino-functionalized magnetic nanoparticles by depositing various amines through co-precipitation or impregnation-sonication. Structural characteristics were studied SEM, BET XRD analyses, evidencing coarse particles with low crystallinity surface areas 100–150 m2 g−1, while FT-IR confirmed interacting substrate. load functional group, stability, sorption capacity assessed elemental thermogravimetric analysis. It found that loads groups ranging from 1.6 6.1 wt.%. deposited, most samples showed sound stability up 100°C. Sorption capacities in the range 0.2–1.5 g gNH2−1, highest being 1.46 gNH2−1 ɛ-aminocaproic acid. Such sample also exhibited good recyclability, a performance drop 11% after many cycles. uptake decreased increasing temperature 25–45°C, suggesting chemical bond between amines. Amino functionalized could thus be interesting solution utilization thanks fast kinetics, ease separation.

متن کاملFunctionalized Magnetic Nanoparticles for Environmental Remediation
Water pollution by anthropogenic activities is proving to be of critical concern as the heavy metals affect aquatic organisms and can quickly disperse to large distances. This poses a risk to both human health and the aquatic biota. Hence, there is a need to treat the wastewater containing toxic metals before they are discharged into the water bodies. During recent years, magnetic nanoparticles...
متن کاملColistin-Functionalized Nanoparticles for the Rapid Capture of Acinetobacter baumannii.
Gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) were functionalized for rapid binding of Acinetobacter baumannii (A. baumannii), a Gram-negative bacterium. AuNPs were functionalized with colistin (Col), a polycationic antibiotic, using a two-step self-assembly process, in which heterobifunctional polyethylene glycol (PEG) was used as a linker. Colistin was successfully conjugated to the AuNPs (Col-PEG-AuNP), as val...
